The Austin Gamblers in partnership with the Texas Music Scene, announced today that Texas-based country music artist, Wade Bowen, will perform for fans at PBR Gambler Days presented by Tecovas at Moody Center. Fans can catch his live performance on Saturday, August 24 as part of the Ford Fan Fest on the Texas Music Scene Stage right outside of the Moody Center.

Two decades and more than 4,000 shows into his career, the New Braunfels, TX native has become synonymous with country music, songwriting, and captivating live performances, and for good reason. His focus remains on writing unique songs with a literary quality and shifting his sonic territory to match his life. More than a dozen albums have shown his musical diversity – including ten studio sets, four live collections, and an ongoing series of buddy-country hits with fellow Texan, Randy Rogers. On May 10, the singer-songwriter released his tenth studio album, Flyin, showcasing his diverse musical range and hard-hitting songwriting, as well as a cast of respected features that add unique elements throughout.
A philanthropist at heart, Bowen founded the Bowen Family Foundation, which has helped children and families in and around central Texas by raising more than $6 million for beneficiaries including March of Dimes Waco, CASA of McLennan and Hill Counties, City of West Disaster Relief, Boys & Girls Clubs of Waco, Inspiración, The Mentoring Alliance, and more.

The Texas Music Scene is a half hour 4-segment weekly live music television series featuring the best of alt-country, Americana, folk and songwriter-driven roots music. Airing 52 times annually in over 20 million households, each episode features three to four different bands or solo artists with live performances and compelling on-camera conversations. The beloved series has 14 seasons, 22 National Telly Awards, 3 People’s Choice Awards, and 3 Lone Star Emmy Nominations.

The Austin Gamblers will host their third-annual homestand, PBR Gambler Days presented by Tecovas, in Austin, Texas, at Moody Center on Aug. 23-25. Ford Fan Fest begins at 5p.m. CT on Friday, August 23, 5p.m. CT on Saturday, August 24, and 11a.m. CT on Sunday, August 25.
