Shelby Stone

Shelby Stone is a Texas-born country-rock artist known for her powerhouse vocal strength, magnetic stage presence, and signature blue hair. Raised just outside the DFW area, Stone honed her skills singing on worship teams, teaching herself guitar, and studying Music Business at UT Arlington—a path that led her to leave nursing behind for full-time music. Influenced by a mix of rock icons like Joan Jett and country legends like Reba McEntire, her sound blends hard-hitting rock energy with vulnerable, narrative-driven songwriting inspired by Guy Clark and Jason Isbell. Discovered in part by songwriter Dalton Domino, Stone built a strong grassroots foundation within the Red Dirt music scene, earned support from Texas country staples like Cody Canada, and successfully crowdfunded her music. Her debut album, Silveryear, showcases her honest songwriting through tracks like “All I Ever Wanted,” capturing her journey through powerful stories and authentic Texas grit.
